StoneBridge is back on DanceRadio

A recovered archive trail led DanceRadio back to Sten Hallstrom—and brought three current editions of The StoneBridge Show into fresh rotation.

An archive question turned into a live return.

Earlier this week, DanceRadio was tracing a surviving run of The StoneBridge Show from episodes 510 through 520. The records showed a steady weekly handoff in 2025, but they stopped short of answering the obvious present-day question: was the show still going?

So we asked.

Sten Hallstrom replied that The StoneBridge Show is still running, with new editions uploaded weekly. He shared the current programme archive and asked which address should receive future mailings. DanceRadio confirmed `shows@danceradio.ca`, restoring the direct route between programme-maker and station.

From the archive to the current series

The newly shared archive did more than confirm that the show continued after episode 520. It held current editions 561, 562 and 563.

DanceRadio retrieved those three programmes, checked their identities and technical details, and approved each complete 60-minute edition. All three are now active in the station's fresh rotation.

That wording is deliberate. Fresh rotation means the episodes are available to the managed playout system alongside other newly approved programmes; it is not a promise that one particular edition will air at a fixed hour. The live sequence changes as the station balances fresh shows, regular rotation and protected programme spacing.

Listeners can therefore hear StoneBridge on the shared live signal again without an invented schedule attached to the announcement.

A handoff repaired

Nothing in the recovered records explained exactly why weekly delivery stopped reaching DanceRadio after episode 520. The useful part was that both ends of the handoff were still there: Sten was still producing the show, and the station still had a dedicated programme inbox and intake workflow ready to receive it.

The repair was refreshingly direct. One email established that the series was current. One reply confirmed the correct station address. The shared archive supplied recent editions, and the normal checks moved them into rotation.

Future valid StoneBridge deliveries sent to `shows@danceradio.ca` can now enter the same intake path as other submitted programmes. A trusted sender record identifies the programme, while the station's validation steps still check the media before approval. Reconnecting the address restores the route; it does not remove the safeguards around what reaches air.

The return is the next chapter

The earlier archive feature remains a record of what episodes 510 through 520 proved. This return is a different chapter: the moment a historical paper trail led back to the person still making the programme.

For DanceRadio, that is what a useful archive can do. It does not merely preserve something that ended. Sometimes it gives the station enough evidence to notice a broken connection, ask the right question and bring a current show back to the signal.

The StoneBridge Show is back on DanceRadio.ca. Episodes 561, 562 and 563 are in fresh rotation now, and the weekly delivery route is open again.
