DanceRadio.ca measures the public site without cookies, advertising trackers, visitor IDs or personal profiles.

Anonymous site measurements

Our first-party system stores daily aggregate counts for page views, live-player starts and clicks from feature articles to the player. It also keeps the referring website hostname and campaign labels when they are present, so we can tell whether listeners arrived from places such as Facebook, Instagram or a search engine.

The analytics database does not store IP addresses, complete referrer URLs, browser fingerprints, email addresses or a history tied to an individual visitor. Like other site requests, collection requests may appear in the short-lived security log described below, but that log is not joined to the analytics database.

Essential server logs

Like most websites, DanceRadio.ca keeps short-lived web-server logs for reliability and security. These may contain an IP address, browser user-agent and requested URL. They are not joined to the analytics database or used for advertising.

Streaming statistics

The streaming server maintains operational listener counts so we can keep the broadcast healthy. Detailed listener statistics are not exposed on the public website.

Cookies and sharing

The public site sets no marketing or analytics cookies. We do not sell personal data or share listener profiles because we do not create them.
